"Kissed Her Rocks Middlebury Social Awareness Festival"

- Francis David, Middlebury Witness

Perhaps one of the brightest spots at the recent Middlebury Social Awareness Festival featured the pop-folk band Kissed Her. The band's songs, sung by front man Caspar Paul, mostly appeal to women's issues, honoring the beauty of adoration with an identity of true equality.

While the protests that accompanied the Festival were anything like warm and cozy, the music did fill an otherwise awkward void -- the need for humanity to come together -- which music facilitates perhaps better than any other phenomena.

Lyrics, such as those from Speak of Love encapsulate a positive message of bringing one's best self to bear on the world and its problems:

Speak of style

And style is what you are

Speak of love

And love is what you are

You'll want to be sure to check out Kissed Her when they come to your area.
